The low beams on this car suck. High beams work fine. Has anyone addressed this issue and if so what have been the best solutions?

No doubt they suck. I haven't worked on that issue yet. But I will before Daylight Savings comes back later this year.

We did an upgrade to our Z/28, and went with the OEM RS lights, yes they add 4LB with the harness, but then replacing the front crash bar saved 11LB, so it made up for the extra LB we added.

Here we are at a club meet.

Halos are a MUST on any 14-15 Camaro IMO. They look SO good as the running lights.

I cant post a price here, and if you find a set of lights at a dismantelers there not that bad, on a Z its a harder to change out, you have the extra parts on the front, the hardest part is holding the wheel extensions out of the way as you remove the front bumper.

You wouldn't happen to have a step by step on how to do this mod? Obviously just the real painstakingly hard part on removing the bumper.

I could tear it down. It's the putting it back together part that may not go so well. :-) I am not totally mechanically inept, but not anywhere near as capable as a lot of guys on this forum. I am in complete awe of those who do all (or most) of mods on their cars.

My father was a great man. Intelligent and insightful...after rebuilding a tranny once, we ended up with too many bolts. He looked at me and said..."Sometimes manufacturers put in extras." I think it was easier than to cry and take it apart again. But the transmission never worked better!! So, I'd at least take a crack at it....

Agreed 100% Z/28 Head-lamps suck big time.

Gonna most likely pull the trigger on these HIDs and Fog Lamps.

Please Advise.

I swapped my bulbs for the sylvania ZXE. Worked fine for me. Fast forward to the end, I have a couple of still shots.

Yup ill have to invest in new lights as well, just costed me a spliter last night on the highway ...

Nice DIY 1970judge, but in the past I have found that upgrading the bulbs will damage you connecter, that's why on our 2010 car we did the headlight update to the RS units.
