last time, I promise, suspension question
ok I've asked this a few times and got multiple responses but not a "definitive" one so here goes. When I get into my car, the light on the touring switch is on. is this by default? I can switch between the touring and sport buttons but it doesn't seem to have a difference on the ride. here is my question, are those 2 buttons/settings different from the 5 settings in the main suspension menu (wet, dry, sport, etc) or are those buttons meaningless and only used to toggle between the other 5 settings in ptm? Is "touring" the default softest setting or is it just the same as the "wet/#1" setting? basically do we have 7 distinct settings (touring, sport, 1/2/ 3/ 4/5) or just 5? do the sport and touring buttons do anything on their own when the ptm is not activated? thanks for all input.

Not 100% sure, but I thought the sport was just slightly stiffer or had something to do with tightening the steering.
To answer your first question, mine is always left where I have it at. Which is always sport. I never have to get in and toggle it to sport. It is just in sport. |

The struts/shocks are not electric, no adjustment to them. Mag ride is on the ZL1, these are MultiMatic. The PTM is to handle acceleration and traction. Steering also supposed to adjust. Personally I’ve never been able to tell the difference in steering. The two buttons are to toggle trough PTM. I’ve heard the same about steering but it’s nothing I can notice on the street. Mine stay parked as well, if I leave it in sport it’s in sport the next time I start it up.
