Drive window won't work, radio/lights stay on

My driver window was having some issues with indexing and the button down hold then button up hold wasn't fixing the issue but for a couple hours. So, we unplugged the connector to the driver door, left it off for a minute, and then plugged it back in. Now the driver window won't work at all (up or down) and when I turn the car off and open the driver door there is no "ding", the radio stays on, interior lights stay on, and I can continue to roll the passenger window up and down from the driver door.

What is wrong? Did we mess something up by pulling out that connector? I should probably say before we unplugged that connector everything was at least working normally except for the window indexing.

I'm so frustrated because every time I get out of the car now I have to disconnect the battery so it doesn't drain from the radio and lights being on! PLEASE HELP!

Soubds BCM thinks the door is open when it’s not, the door open/close sensor may be a good place to start. Do more research, but my google search indicated that it may be built into the door latch. Best of luck solving it.

I found just a mention of that when I was searching but I never found how the window is connected to the door latch AND the DIC doesn't say the door is open when I am driving. It's so weird

Did you ever figure out how to fix this? I’m having issues with my driver side door sensor as well (and yes it is built into the door latch assembly)
