GYSC3 in the rain
I had questions about how the car drives in the rain when I first started and have since gotten some wet days under my belt. Posting a short clip of how the car did at VIR in the rain as I don't see many of these videos posted. Unfortunately ends with a mustang hitting the wall.
You can really hear the TC kick in most of the time even though I'm being gentle on the pedal. These tires were on their last days and the front were already corded but they performed roughly the same as when they were not corded. Seems like as long as you stay away from any puddles at high speed you will be ok. I was taking it very easy in the braking zones making them roughly 2x longer than they need to be. And I was backing off to stay under 120mph on the straights. |

With the SC3 wet is one thing, rain (moderate/heavy) and puddles and standing water and that tire will hydroplane and try to kill ya at speed.
(I wasn't able to watch you video) |
