In The Market for 2010 camaro SS with 89k..reliability?
How reliable are the 2010 Camaro 2 ss? I haven't been in the muscle car game for a while. Im looking to buy one just to cruise back n forth to work as a daily driver. It would be my second vehicle just to keep miles off my truck.
I stumble upon a 1 owner Camero ss( women own/driven) with only 89k miles on it. 100 percent stock. How much life you think it has left into? |

I have a 2010 2SS with about 80,000 miles.
No problems. However, I did have the noisy lifters replaced under warranty per a TSB. This was unique to A6 cars at the time, when cylinder deactivation was limited to A6 cars. You might want to find out whether this was performed on the car you want to buy. As for how much life is left in it? Well, the drive train should be good for a long time, but other things happen to 12 year old cars, like radiator, hoses, and belts going south. So I think you should budget $5,000 or so for a refresh. |

There’s a few guys on here with nearly 300K on their SS cars with original drivetrain, still running strong. There’s a TON of life left at 90K.
