Transmission Problem
Hello , i recently bought a camaro ss l99 405hp with GM Hydra-Matic 6L80 trans.
i have never driven a camaro before in my life. I had a problem with my transmission when i go through the gears at a low speed i notice a slight rollback like motion before engaging into 5th gear like it struggle a bit to engage it i notice it on the highway with high speed as well but not as much as when i kickdown it from a low speeds. I have since then checked for error codes and changed transmission fluid , it did nothing. Have any of you encounter such an issue ? |

Is the car tuned? Are you talking about using the paddle shifters? Kind of hard to diagnose here but I had a torque converter fail and it caused MANY up and downshift issues. It threw codes but...not for quite a while after the symptoms started. My car had an aggressive transmission tune at that time.
