Sixth Gen ZL1 bumper hood lines

No matter what I do the hood lines just do not match my car. 2012 chevy camaro lt. Is there any way to make the lines closer together?

Don't think so. That's one of the issues the guys are having when they do this mod. My buddies ZL1 with the 6th gen front doesn't match very well.

Probably raising up the "bump stops" a tad that hold the hood up. They just screw in or out to raise and lower the depth of the hood, also the hood latch behind the grille is adjustable too. It can be adjusted up and down as well to raise the hood up or down. We had to do that when I installed my aftermarket glass hood.

I dont have any experience personally but I watched a video with someone complaining about this same issue. The essentially pushed the bumper as flush as possible with the hood open and then used self tapping screws to fasten the bumper to the core support Instead of using the plastic push pins. This allows you to fix the bumpers position to an exact position. Not everyone wants to use self tappers in this way, but... Just passing along what I have seen.

There is a small gap between the hood and the fascia

I'm not sure what you are talking about. First you were super aganist the idea of putting an OEM 6th gen fascia and now your are saying the aftermarket is worse? No disrespect but what? Also it fits pretty well overall and I am super happy with the results but it be perfect if the hood was super level. I seen a couple videos where they made imperfect ones fit. I 'm just not sure how. Someone mention earlier I needed the 2014-2015 hood since they were slightly longer which I could get from a junkyard but was just wondering if there was another way

The IKON stuff is made of that garbage DURAFLEX material that NEVER fits correctly. It says in their descriptions that "some" modifications will be required". I have never seen any of it fit well. My friend that did his as I stated before, just let it be.
