Bluetooth iphone12 in 2010
My phone will connect for phone calls, but not podcasts, YouTube, etc. Is there a thread on this? Thanks.

Common issue with GM and apple. Only thing you can do is check your radio has the latest firmware and if not the dealer can update it or unpair your phone from the radio, (phone side forget device first, then remove via radio settings) and the nreboot your phone, reconnect and see if that helps.

I dont know, I connect my IPad for Music or Movies
it all just plays thru the speakers

Two different connections for the phone on 2010. One for phone calls, and the other for music/podcast. Look up the owners manual and it will give you the details.
