Showstopper Sidemarker Starting to Go -- Are they still in business?
I have a Showstopper LED side marker starting to go. Pretty impressive it lasted 11 years.
However, it's come to my attention that Show Stopper Accessories stopped doing sales via its website some time around 2019 and the domain is now parked: https://web.archive.org/web/20191228...Exchange.html# As I understand, a gentleman named Peter Petruzzelli basically ran this out of his garage and made everything by hand. It seems the username "showstopper" hasn't been active in these forums since 2023, although right now, the user "Pete@Showstopper" is pretty active and making accessories for Corvettes now it seems. There was, however, a period of time where he was a little far behind on responses due to personal matters. Has anyone got in contact with him recently and confirmed if he can still do repairs to Camaro accessories he made? I think with it being so long, the components he used to make these probably won't exist anymore unless he had a surplus of LED strips, but it's worth asking. I did register over at the Corvette forums and am building up enough posts to get access to DM's. I also found his Facebook at the collision shop he's working at but figure it may be over-stepping if I messaged there.

I was on a similar search for ShowStopper back in 2020...I really wanted to get some of his underhood covers. However, I ended up just reverse engineering them instead.
For the LED side markers, I think Oracle is still making their version with OEM paint matching. Those are what I have (preordered at the very first Camaro5 Fest). |

I have Oracles with the side markers painted black "ghosted" version. I read on the forum somewhere if I remember correctly.. and even did a search on the Oracle website. There are very few painted versions available now if any.
