2013 ZL1 Convertible Inside Rearview Mirror Delaminating

So, never paid much attention to the rearview mirror before. But yesterday, took the ZL1 out for a liesurely cruise. Noticed there were "spots" all over the mirror. I tried wiping them off with a soft cloth, but no, they're behind the glass. Hmmm. Mirror is delaminating.

It's always parked in the garage when not in use, and I've never seen a mirror this new do this before. Grrr. 2,991 miles and shit's falling apart.

Being one not to take parts falling apart, I started looking for a replacement. It's gone through about 3 supersessions on the part number. In fact, depending on options, I found out there's 3 different part numbers for mirrors. Rockauto.com sells them.

So which one do I need? So I look up my build manifest and search for the RPOs starting with D. I have RPO DBX, self dimming, heated mirrors, and all that. Thus, of course it's the most expensive one, like everything else on the car. P/N 23189285. Rockauto has the mirror the cheapest anywhere I can find after the 5% discount and only 8.99 shipping with USPS.

It's like speckled. But behind the glass. Hard to take a picture of, but you can see it straight on.

Keep an eye out folks. I have no idea if you can get these re-silvered or not.
