Anyone driven long distance? how comfortable?

I'm driving down to south carolina from new york city. I want to go in a camaro, but i'd like to know if it would be comfortable for an 11 hour ride. My other option is a camry. What do you guys think?

Some of the folks that drove to C5Fest could answer this one for you--there were quite a few folks that drove that far, and more

Go with the Camaro definately.. The Camry may be more comfortable, but you won't be smiling nearly as much driving it...It makes the trip more enjoyable...

Drove 600 miles first day i got my camaro last year around this time, it was amazing to me! Might have just been the shock and the joy of finely being behind the wheel of it!

I spend 3+ hours a day in my car. Very comfy for a big guy. Can't even fit in a mustang or corvette.

I made a 10 hour trip in mine, and it was great. Set the cruise, turned up the A/C and the tunes and all was good. The car is just fine for two people, don't think I would do it with kids ...

Its only a 3 hour drive back home for me. But the trip feels like it takes half as long when I drive the camaro vs. my taurus. Also very comfortable.

Since December, I have put almost 11,000 miles on my 2SS. It was in the shop for 43 days because it got hit.

I've put most of the miles on in 300-600 mile trips over the weekends here on the highways of Washington State.

The car is VERY comfortable for driving like that. On several of my trips, I was driving from 7am to 12 midnight, with a few stops here and there.

We drove to chicago and back last year. 8-10 hours each way with traffic. Very comfortable to drive in. My wife was surprised how comfortable it was. Let us know how it goes
