Texas Speed 1 and 7/8 long tube package

I just opened my purchase today on the 16th. Going through everything that it comes with and realize that the gaskets for the heads that it come with are for an LS1. As you all know we have an LS3. I looked online a little bit and there are some people that say these do work however they're not recommended. Any thoughts? I already contacted Texas Speed and I'm waiting for an email. I did look at my order receipt and it does explain that it comes with LS1 manifold gaskets. Is there something I'm not aware of?

No matter. I think I'm just going to get some OEM gaskets. I see a lot of these guys talking trash on practically anything that's not OEM because of the size of the seal causing leaks. Just kind of weirds me out that these performance parts that you get aren't ahead of these kind of Curves.

OEM's are your best bet. They are made better, and fit much better. I have had mine on for 7 years when we did the cam swap, no issues to date!
