Best aftermarket shops in SA?

I was wondering what the best place to take my 2002 Trans Am Ws6 to get: CAI, long tube headers, Corsa exhaust, tune, and professionally installed in or around the San Antonio area? A friend told me about Lethal Performance. Also, if you have any stories or good reasons as of why youre pushing your recommendation, that would be great.

I would highly recommend taking it to Henderson Performance in New Braunfels. Corey is a great guy, does great work, is very reasonably priced, and you can feel confident that it will all be done the right way. Many SA members have taken their vehicles to him, and he has done an awesome job on every one of them!

I will 2nd that vote for HPT, he's done several of the exact changes you're lookin at, on the same model of car. Lethal is good as well, I've heard no bad stories about them. I know people from both shops and would recommend either for what you want done.

I take my car to Lethal Performance, they do great work and they are unmatched in the LSX realm in the area. Danny is a standup guy and the guys in the shop know there stuff esp with these LS motors!

I dont care for Lethal to much takes to long on things and their shop/area looks like a junk yard. I had a friend that had his vette there and it took them 14months and the car was never ready when went to pick it up and that wasnt long ago either so the same personel is probably there. Thats just my views some people have good experiences and some have bad, unfortunetly mine was bad the handful of times i went there to get my friends vette.

+1

I hear that a lot of Lethals cars end up at Henderson, Nelson, Nori, or Max V...

Only 4 shops imo that are top notch.

Hello,

I'm truly sorry to hear you had a bad experience with us. But, please keep this in mind, your friends car didn't sit here for 14 months due to us, it was due to a lack of funds. I hate to even go there, but, in light of what you said I feel it is necessary to defend myself.
We have a great reputation and have some of the fastest street car builds in the city, ask anyone. And yes, there are a lot of cars at the shop all the time, that is because people do trust us and they appreciate our quality of work; this can lead to a large collection of customer's cars ("junk yard" in your words) which need attention. I really don't like to disappoint anyone and hope that you may give us a chance to earn your business again in the future.

Thanks,

-Lethal Performance

Marco & Danny are great to work with. Lethal did my procharger d1sc & exhaust on my 06 gto & made 520rwhp. Recently tuned my l99 camaro and they did an excellent job car made 357rwhp with magnaflow axlebace w/ edelbrock x-pipe & rotofab cai & hp tuners tune done by shawn. Anything I need done I will always count on Danny & lethal to make my car fast.

I'm sure everyone has their favorite shop. I just wanted to share my experience with Lethal Performance. I bought my axle back MRT 2.0 online, call Lethal one afternoon and asked if they could fit it in. Their response bring it by and they would what they could do. When I got there, they so cool about things and with only a short wait they pulled it in and installed in no time as I watched. A lot cool cars were pulling up for service, I couldn't believe how great my experience was there. The best thing was the price. Thanks lethal !

To each his own. Danny has done my Cobra,Trans Am and Z06 and they all came out great. I find the comment funny about a junk yard Theres like 10 vettes here right now + many other cars. Lethal Performance continues to put out cars daily and run great times at the track. No one is perfect. And Lethal supports this forum as a sponsor and the community.
