whats the ls3 engine worth? selln mine
2010 camaro 1200 miles selling engine bought a new 416 crate with maggie. the engine is complete MINUS the oil pan ,throttle body, water pump, coils and wiring harness. what u guys think?????????

Thats cool where are you getting your new engine from ? I have seen the stock ls3 selling for $4000.00 to $6000.00 depending on whats included but average about $5000.00 for the complete engine with accessories.

I would call a couple "junk" yards in your area and tell them you are looking for one and see what they are getting for one with LOW miles on it. If they say they don't have one, ask how much they sell for if you can find one and they will usually tell you a price.

Bare used long block will probably only fetch 3-3.5k maybe 4. But should be easy to sell.
