Wax preference for Adams users
Do you prefer the americana wax or the buttery wax? Is one better than the other or easier to apply? Thanks

The difference between the two is the type of wax they are, how long they last and their application. The Buttery Wax does not last nearly as long as the Americana. With the Buttery Wax, you apply it, allow it to dry and then wipe it off. With the Americana, you basically wipe it on and wipe it off (about two panels at a time). The Americana is also a carnuba paste wax which is a much harder coat of protection. A jar of Americana will last you a significantly longer amount of time that the Buttery Wax as you won't be applying it no where near as often.
I'm an Americana fan because of the reasons I listed above. A jar of that stuff will last me for years.

In a rush - Buttery is great
Have time - Americana..... Nothing pops more than the Americana IMO!

Cool, received the Junkman TPC kit yesterday but the Americana is backordered, so I will have to wait a couple more days to make her shine. Great videos btw.

I have never tried the Americana, but I will now. The buttery wax is excellent and lasts a full year for me, but my car is garaged and covered so I am not a good gauge if you store the car outdoors.

Since you don't have to wait for the Americana to dry, it is actually the faster to apply.

I like both waxes, but like AJ said, they are inherently different. I love the buttery for a quick protection before a storm or bad weather week. But the Americana is second to none in terms of durability and shine - I have quite a few different carnuaba waxes on my shelf including other expensive brands like pinnacle souveran, p21s, and wolfgang fuzion - IMHO americana will outshine/protect better than all of them, and for the most part it's not as expensive.
