What would be a good price for this older lot car - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

A local dealer has an older (still has the small square GM badges on the sides) ABM 2LT with no options on the lot. The car has about 130 miles on it. MSRP is $27,375 and they have a sale price on it for $26,875. White is my preferred color, but I can't find one and if I could get a really good price on this one, and not have to wait a couple months for an ordered car, I might just buy it. What would be a reasonable price for this car given its age and miles?

Invoice on this car is probably around $25,900 +/-. Since the dealer is willing to deal on it and you have the USAA discount I would offer about $25,500 which would include your discount. If they say no don't immediately counter offer. Let them sit on your offer for a couple days. Obviously nobody has bought that car in the last five months. I would bet they call you back and want to talk some more. Camaro Scotty, Becky can also give you some insight if you really want a white 2LT. Both are Camaro5 members and sales persons at honest dealerships and they can offer some pretty competitive pricing and honest information. 130 miles isn't too bad as long as you give it a thorough inspection.
