I bought the Belltronix STiR it hides behind the grill and you can't see it.It also can not be detected by the police. The Valantine can from what i've been told. So you also have to make sure if you are driving where they are illegal that they police can't detect it.

yeah i agree thats a bit steep and im lucky my wife even let me get this car so no fantasies about any fancy car warming gift. sounds like you got a great car ordered... congrats!

sure, $400 is alot of $$$...but in the month before I got my V1, I got pulled over 4 times (no tickets luckily, but I'm not sure how long that luck would have lasted)...in the almost 2 years since...I've managed NOT to get pulled over...so it's worth EVERY penny.

in the stats they are LEGAL everywhere except for DC and VA.

Valentine one detectors are worth every penny!

When they save you from that BIG ticket, you won't think about how much you spent.. just how well the Detector did it's job.

I have a V-1 hard mounted in ALL of my different vehicles...
