do you have to tune with stabilitrac and TM off?

Since getting headers, I get no CEL unless I hold the button down for 7-8 sec. to turn stabilitrac, etc. off. Then I get the 1133, 1153 codes. Does anyone know why this is?

does it stay on when you re-enanble trac and stability control?

I guess I wont be turning my TC/STC off... no codes yet and I have been running 2" ARH LTs for about a week.

yeah, stays on until the DTCs are cleared. Doesn't really make sense to me, but then i don't know so much about the tunes.

Throwing codes P1133 and 1153 are almost always encountered after installing any brand of long tube headers due to the fact the o2 sensors are further back than the stock ones. You may go for hours, days, or weeks before thowing a code. You can clear the code and it might come right back or take days or weeks to appear again. The only way to permanently handle it is to have the codes tuned out. I believe more aggressive driving has a tendency to light the CEL more than easy driving.

that's what I am saying. The codes are tuned out if I don't turn stabilitrac and Tm off by holding that button down for 7-8 seconds. When I hold the thing down to turn everything off, I throw the code every time. What I'm wondering is this-- Why does the tune change when those things are turned off?

I would bet the codes are NOT shut off in the tune or the ecm would not be able to report the error otherwise. Have you driven the car just as hard in Drive with the TC and stabletrac enabled as you did with it off? If not, clear the codes and try it.

That should have nothing to do with you getting insufficient switching codes... Are you sure it's not just a fluke in timing? Those codes tend to pop up with long tubes no matter what. Just set them to 3 - No Error Reported. They tend to come on after idling for a little while.

Yes they typically dyno tune with TC and Stabilitrac off. But only because your front wheels aren't turning on the dyno and it would set a code. Also if you are doing a tune on a laptop while driving the car, any wheel slippage will retard the timing, throwing off the data logging.

But those codes have nothing to do with TC and Stabilitrac, so there's no reason for them to be coming on. Just a coincidence.
1133 is O2 sensor Bank 1 Sensor 1 Rear
1153 is O2 sensor High Voltage bank 2 sensor 1
