Floor mats...HELP! - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So my boyfriend recently purchased a black 2ss/rs and has never been more in love

...for his birthday i figured i might as well purchase some "accessories" for his new beloved. I'm set on getting him the black chevy bowties, and contemplating buying the black reverse light surrounds...but the one thing I am most interested in getting him are floor mats.

This is where i need a little help...from camarocollection.com it gives me the option of buying black floor mats with the "SS" logo in red OR to buy custom black mats (lloyd mats?) with "Camaro SS" in red. Which are better?/which are more desirable?
As all of you are avid fans of the camaro, i thought getting some input from other camaro lovers would be my best bet at getting him exactly what he wants.

Get him the Lloyd mats with the "Camaro SS" red embroidery and you will still be his main love..LOL And you will see him do this...

Also, you can shop around for the mats, I got mine through Autoanything.com and they were cheaper. Also you may need to get the 4 mats since GM doesn't supply rear carpets. You also may want to note that Lloyd mats do take a few days in production time, not sure when your b/f's bday is?

PS...I want a girlfriend that will buy me camaro accessories!!

Thanks! That's really helpful! I was actually considering the 4 mats, and I'll probably buy all 4. I actually have a couple more questions, I see that they offer either Ultimat or Velourtex...which are better? Also, as for the color, I see that Black and Ebony are very similar, which color suits the interior better?

Try CARiD... they were the cheapest I could find several months ago. I got the Lloyds Ultimats...

not the velour tex. I got my lloyds off ebay the custom set of four was about $150 with free shipping. they are nice mats. much better then the stock mats.

I think I got the Luxe or the Ultimat, they are very nice.

If he's got a black exterior/interior, then Ebony would be best. Although I have black mats, and it really makes the mats stand out.
