Best exterior adhesive tape?

I'm going to replace my side Camaro emblems with 1968 emblems. I don't want to drill through the fender so I'm planning on using trim adhesive tape. I've used the 3M to mount LEDs on my motorcycle but I'm wondering if it's the best.

Anyone have any experience or suggestions?

I used the grey double sided 3M tape for my badges. It has held up fine. Took about 2 hours to cut it all just right though.

What you need a 3M molding tape (p/n 03609)......it made for that very thing, and you can get it at most auto parts stores. It comes on a small roll that cost about $5 I used it it put on my Fender V flags, and on header badge I put on the dash. Works like a champ.

Thanks for the advice. I thought the 3M was the way to go, now all of you have confirmed it.
