GM Employee Price for Shelby GT500 Convert

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has a GM employee family/friends number or supplier number that they would allow me to use to purchase a 2010 camaro. I am currently driving a 2007 Shelby GT500 and have considered selling it and buying a Camaro. If there was someone out there that would be willing to send me their GM employee friends/family number it would make buying the Camaro and selling the Shelby easier. I assume it is just like the Ford employee discount which one can pass on to someone else if they are not going to purchase a car this year. If anyone would be so kind as do to this please send information to me in private message
Thanks in advance.

If I don't get a reply that is fine, i'll simply wait another 6-10 months when there is a factory rebate or GMS pricing for all due to this poor economy.

It's the subject that's mind blowing.

To the OP:
For one you can't use GM discount on a Ford. It won't help you sell the car??

Also they can't give away the discount to non qualified people.

Good Luck on your project.

Discounts are for immediate family members I believe, and they're vouchers to buy new cars

He's a convert from a GT500, he wants to use the discount to buy a Camaro SS. Way to look like a fool...

You realize you are asking someone to risk their career so that you can get a car discount... This is what you would use this site for?

Also, if you bought a GT500, why would a few thousand matter. The discount isn't much especially compared to the 45-50+k car you own now. Also, you could probably get the supplier discount if you have a credit union, or work at a place which offers it. You may check around on that. Again, neither discount is very much, but at least it is something.

As already said the employee pricing is for immediate family members only and quite a few dealers require proof. Giving it out to someone not related to them can cause them to lose their job. Do you really want that on your conscience so you can save $1,000?

The Family and friends program you are referring to happens very rarely when sales are really bad and only on specific models that are not selling at all. GM's sales are picking up and as good as the Camaro is selling you will never see it offered on the Camaro. You won't see any rebate offers on the Camaro until next year when the '11 model is released.

Instead of risking someone else job why don't you go and see if you qualify yourself. https://www.gmsupplierdiscount.com/ip-gmsupplier/ and if you are a member of a Credit Union https://www.exclusivegmoffer.com/ip-...do?program=cud

Guys, this man is coming from the Ford camp. He is asking if GM has a plan like Ford's friends/family/stockholder X-plan. These Ford pin #s are given to ford employees and retirees to give to their friends to help sell Fords.

Good luck with your decision, OP.

Regardless even if he got it 95% of dealers arent excepting any discounts right now so if your in no hurry your better to wait it out.

the only way to do would be for somebody to buy the car then turn around and sell it to you. Is it something that the cops can come after you for NO. But if GM found out that person might be fired, but chances of them finding out will be slim. Shady but i dont really see the big deal, Gm is still selling a car they otherwise wouldnt.

But on your second note, this car will not be having cash back or 0% anytime soon. It will remain like the vette, no kick backs. Now maybe a year from now you could pick up a 2010 on the lot for a good deal but cash back will never be significant either will the 0% thing

At least one person in this entire thread understood what I was asking. I guess GMC equivalent in the supplier discount. Does anyone have an authorization number for that as I know that is for friends and family?
