Anyone have IBM w/gold stripes??

I know I want a camaro.....but trying to decide on a color combo is driving me nuts!!! I would like something a bit one off. Not fully customized (not in my budget) just a few small personal touches to help stand out in the crowd. I have search and trolled the threads on here and can't find an example of an IBM with gold metalic stripes (bet someone can find a link and give me hard time....but honest I tried before posting this). If anyone can help it would be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!

No one has any, because there are no factory or aftermarket stripes (that I have seen) in that color.
To be honest I don't think it would look that good. But that's just from one IBM owner.

Sounds like a great combo to me. I'll be seriously thinking of this when it comes time to purchase. The camaro has a lot of meaning to me and I'm trying to put meaning into the color selection as well. My time in the Navy is really the only thing that would achieve that. So, I may well be stealing your idea. Thanks.

I've seen some gold stripes that stripeman has installed on Black cars at Shaheen Chevrolet in Lansing.

I'm kinda sorta going for that look with mine; I'm going with the Blue Angels color theme. It's also somewhat like the old Penske/Donohue 69 Z/28 racing Camaros. Here's a pic I did in Adobe Illustrator where I added the hood stripes, the front bowtie and the "Blue Angel" on the side; the wheels are real. I've been trying to come up with a stripe idea for the back of the car and I'm just about there so hopefully in the next month or two I'll get these paint mods done for real.

I think an IBM with gold leaf theme would look killer and very unique; like the old Lotus Formula 1 John Player Special racing cars. Their's were black and gold but the IBM often looks nearly black; I think it would work well if not overdone.

That would be a rad color combo. I think it would be cooler if it was more like the WRX STI blue/gold combo.

I use to race remote control cars and I painted all of them blue and gold or black and gold. Loved it on the smaller cars. I have some samples of some gold and metallic gold stripes from stickercity.com but not a IBM camaro to be found so I can see what they look like together (small town have to travel to find one). I saw the cyber grey metallic with flat black stripes yesterday in person and was very impressed with it. decisions decisions........my mid-life crisis car so want it to be just right!

Give me some ideas of what you're looking for as far as look or style, and some choices you like for wheels and I'll do my best to Photoshop them for you. Believe me it makes a huge difference deciding, when you can see it on the car before doing it.

I would love to see a IBM with these yenko stripes, hood spear in gold and metallic gold and the blue and gold where the black is on the stock wheels like in the pics.
