I hope a huge cam is in your future, because those are pretty big primaries for a 376, especially with a stock cam.

I have the 2 inch Stainless Works also and i love them! I hear people say it's overkill but they made the same if not better in the header test so i don't see the big deal really. Just my opinion.

Thanks to xtreme horsepower...got me a great deal on the headers. The fitment was superb and the quality of the headers is amazing. I ran a magnet across the headers and could not get it to stick ANYWHERE on the entire system, definitely a top quality stainless system. The welds were also superb, looks like they were done with care. Fitment was great and I didnt have any problems. I had to remove the steering shaft but that was about it. Other than that they fit great. No leaks at all.

I also dont understand why some people hate on the 2 inch. They were dead even with the 1 7/8 through the entire rpm range and even made 5 more horsepower up top. This is the obvious choice even on a stock car...and with a cam the gains should only get better.

Got the install done today. Took me bout 6 hours from start to finish going at a normal pace. I could probably do it in 4 hours if I did it again and tried to do it fast.

Anyway it sounds fricken MEAN!. Ill try to get a vid. I can all ready tell it has a MAJOR power gain. From a first gear roll the car would hook up pretty well before the headers....now the car will break them loose from a roll and DEFINITELY pulls harder. The 1-2 shift really gets sideways now. I can only imagine how it will feel after the tune. Believe it or not this car is only SLIGHTLY behind my H/C 98 camaro I previously had. Once I do H/C...which I may do next year or the year after....this car will be a BEAST. I didnt notice any loss in the low end...even without a tune.

Ill try and get a vid up tomorrow or the next day. Ive got a canon powershot s3 to take the vids with...the quality should be decent hopefully.

What do you guys use to host vids?

P.S...Im getting the car dyno tuned on friday at Stenod performance in detroit. Hoping for at least 415 rwhp with my mods. I'll let you guys know.

One other thing. I have almost 1500 miles on my car. And all but about 100 of them I have had my catch can installed. I drained the catch can today and got next to nothing out of it. Maybe my car doesnt need one that bad...either way just thought I would let you guys know.

At WOT throttle the 2" primaries may match the 1 7/8 down low, but I would think the 1 7/8 would have better low end part-throttle response. Kind of hard to quantify, but that is my guess. 2" does seem a bit large but with your future plans you wont be limited this way. Can't wait to hear it and see some results.

Exactly. The world doesn't live at WOT... although I wish we did.

I guess I dont see the point/care in slightly better part throttle response/power. I have driven the car twice now and only notice a power increase EVERYWHERE at WOT. Im not sure how I can gauge part throttle performance...it seems to do just fine around town etc.
