Exclamation P0651: Service Stabilitrak Engine Power Reduced

HELP!!!!

Have gotten the P0651 code recently and it'll throw the car into reduced power mode. Have not found a thread on here that fully explains this. Replaced the throttle body as one of the threads on here recommended but the problem still persists.

Just to make sure, you don't have an aftermarket throttle controller installed, correct?

To my knowledge no. An air intake plus headers and catback is all i have on the car so far.

Try this.....

The 5 V reference 2 circuit provides 5 V to the following sensors:
APP sensor 1
Throttle position sensor 1 and 2
Crankshaft position sensor
Brake booster vacuum sensor

It may be possible to locate the fault by disconnecting one component at a time from the affected 5 V reference circuit while viewing the 5 V Reference Circuit Status parameter on the scan tool. The scan tool parameter will change from Malfunction to OK when the source of the fault is disconnected. If all 5 V reference components have been disconnected and a fault is still indicated, the fault may exist in the wiring harness.

Low voltage creates all kind of phantom codes but usually the are accompanied by communication codes (u codes). He only spoke of 1 code so I doubt it's battery related.

That's assuming he has a code reader that can read beyond P codes.

I received this code when I used a throttler controller. I took off the controller. When you put the throttles (stock to aftermkt, aftermkt to stock) on your Camaro did you do the throttle re-learn process? That could be why you're still getting the code. I also got a REP (Reduced Engine Power) when my accelerator pedal was on the blink. I replaced the pedal and no more REP. Hope this helps.
