lol friday I didnt have to work & Zhawk decided it was time we get some wood chopped before this winter, (we are already using the wood stove since its been so cold here)

so instead of hand chopping it we decided to go get a log splitter, Man thats a great toy. its only an 8ton splitter but it did all the dry season wood we have on the property with out an issue.

then we got a little chipper to do the limbs around the place as well.

Then Yesterday My son got his science fair project, a go kart that he has to put back together & work on something full of science facts lol.

we picked engine, & frame up for $150. lol.

Those log splitters are great aren't they? Neighbor built one that hooks up to 3-point and hydraulics on his tractor. He brought it by last winter and we split a cord of pecan in no time at all. I want one of those...Got the hydraulic cylinder this summer, might get it built this winter if I can find the time.

we just bought a small one & it did all the wood we had that we needed to split & some of this stuff was twisted * what have you

We get plenty of firewood to burn just trying to keep pasture cleared for the moo-cows, and I'm way behind on that too. Need a bulldozer some diesel and a match! Nah, I can't do that, those west Texxenz pay primo prices for firewood. Besides, I like pecans more than cattle, they don't eat grass, $hite in the pasture and tear down fence.

That go-cart needs a chainsaw motor

its got a 5hp engine with it its just not hooked up.
