New Blue AAC Lights

Just received and installed by AAC Blue lights, love them. Now I need to get the blue foot wells, the blue bowtie, and then the rear afterburner lights. Any body have some pics of the bowtie and afterburner lights? How hard are they to install?

Nobody has any pics of the bowties or afterburner lights? Also how hard are they to install. I really want to get them but want to see them and make sure they aren't to hard to put in.

Bowtie is easy to install - there are multiple threads on how to remove the old one.

Their instructions were not very good, unless I screwed something up, which is entirely possible. I connected it to the right taillight, as described, and also have it connected to the brake lights. problem is, the brake lights are just a brighter running light - which is also the turn signal!

So, when my right turn signal goes on, my bowtie also blinks not a big deal to me...

it just sticks on with 3M Auto tape and the 2 wires feed through one of the 2 holes in the trunk that the old bowtie used to center.

I do not have afterburner lights...

So do you have to connect it to the break and turn taillight or just the taillight? How long did it take you?

Thanks for the pic. I think it looks awesome.

I didn't get instructions with my bowtie either. I did a search on here to find a little help and it didn't take long to install. If you order the dual intensity, it's supposed to come with an extra piece. I didn't get mine and I'm still waiting to hear back from Justin to see when it will be shipped.

CaniacFan,

Thank you. I went yesterday for a quote on having stripes painted. WOW was it pricey. I wanted stripes to go from the bottom lip all the way up and across the hood, roof, and rear, like the pace car.

Mike

P.S. I see your in NC, I am starting a Camaro club soon and wondered if you would be interested in coming to some of our drives/events?

AACstyle,

Yes please send the PDF so i can review. I a little nervous on the afterburner lights as I did not I would have to cut the lights and that makes me a little nervous.
