Group buy on the Borla ATAK Cat-Back?

Has anyone looked into a group buy on this ATAK package? Do you guys allow group buys on this forum? Just curious. Some forums do not allow group buy deals to be discussed. Not even sure if there is a vendor willing to do such a deal. Just throwing it out there.

Thanks!

Absolutely...look for group buys under marketplace...

The Borla is going to be a tough GB with the MSRP and MAP being so high.

I'm sure that somebody will ask Tran as soon as he gets done getting all the licensing approval stuff done.

I'm actually standing by as well to get approval to start listing some Group Buy items as well. Until I get permission, I'm not allowed to discuss it in a public forum.

Can't wait to get some approval.

Take care and best of luck,
Ivan

Sweet! Thank you for the information. Good to know that GB's are welcome here!

I'm working with a company to start this up PM if interested and I'll have more answers on Monday, latest Tuesday. And I'll get pricing too.

Couple things here. First off, Borla is already available at very aggressive prices. We will soon have it available at a similar discount to all our other Borla stuff. I don't see how someone could save you money vs. what the thing will normally be availible unless they are running a charity. In general..I don't like to take orders for something that is not being made yet, which is we are not selling it yet. But when we do, it will be a case ofus giving a great price every day.

Also, just so you know..with Borla..once your a Borla dealer, you get the same price if I buy 1 or 20.

I guess what I am saying is that it is pretty silly to go through organizing a group buy, and giving someone your money in advance..and waiting around when if you just hold on to your money the thing will be available for sameday shipment at a price within a few percentage points once it in production.

You hit that one on the head...
However, if there is a group of you interested, I would certainly be willing to get a GB up and running. I have run plenty in the past, and I am sure that we coudl all work something out.

So you agree with Maryland Speed that its a waste of time and organize a group buy, but yet you want to start one?

I called Borla on Friday and they told me there are vendors out there that have the Atak exhaust in stock. However, they don't but will in 10 days they are working their second batch right now.

Smile Borla

Discovered where I purchasede my car if I order Borla mufflers through GM performance have a GM trained technician install them it will not void the warranty.

Very Good news I am now considering having the Hennessy Supercharger installed by the same GM Trained Technician at the dealership.

F. Y. I. the Borla mufflers, Splash Guards, new lug nuts with lock, came in GM packaging.
Everything was ordered through GM.

Like I said, there are people who prefer to do it that way.
I have done group buys before, and when I do, I get a list of people who WILL buy, and then I shop it around to my suppliers. There is nothing that says my suppliers will not be interested in cutting me a deal to get the business.

Going directly to Borla will not result in any type of savings... but when a WD buyer is the one asking, things can and do change.
