I went to my local chevy dealer today to see a Camaro, they had a yellow 2LS which was very nice. After looking it over and sitting in it and all I decided I would order a 1ss/rs with stick in IBM and the dealer said they can't do any more orders, that Chevy isn't shipping stickshift cars!?? He showed me how they have 4 on the way, including a couple of 2SS's but they are all automatics. Is this true?

No that is BS. Sounds like he is just wanting to sell you one of his cars on the way.

Not true. Perhaps though he meant that they can't do any more pre-orders, which is true.

wow.........thats desperate! as far as i know, untrue!

there were issues with V6/manual cars, but 1st i've heard of ANY SS/Manual issue.

i had one of my orders get accepted by GM yesterday and it's a 2SS Manual.

i say find another dealer!

I really hope this is a load of crap because, if not there's bound to be many more Challengers and Mustangs on the road.
