WELL the hardware (the studs) are part of the spoiler, they are embeded into it, all you will need to get would be the nuts, and you can get those at any hardware store, I just recommend to get NYLOC nuts, and some 242 loctite to ENSURE the don't come off later down the road, which has happened. As far as the template....if you are buying one from GM, it SHOULD come with a templete, if you are getting one from someone else....I personally would pass. I wouldn't have that "FUZZY FEELING" if I didn't know EXACTLY where I was drilling holes in my car.

I agree. Miss the hole location by 1/8" and you've got big problems.

I keep my eyes on the SLP Ebay store all the time hoping to find a white w/ orange stripes. I figure when I find one, I'll see if the dealer body shop perhaps has a template and what the cost to install would be.

something else you might try, is to try to get a hold of anyone on the site that has already installed one, and has the templet and can either send it to you, or make a cope of it and send it to you. Just a thought. But still, I would wait till I had a templet in hand before I bit the bullet and bought a spoiler second hand.

You could make your own template using a friend's trunk lid then transfer the hole locations to yours. Gonna take some guts to drill it though. I once put a Grand National spoiler on a Turbo Regal, that was scary even though it was an old 87. Can't imagine drilling a 2010 or 11.

Put mine on without the template. I put down masking tape then place the Spoiler on to the truck. The studs left a mark in the tape. I then drilled and mounted. No problem at all. I have to say the worse part was getting the spoiler lined up before you press on the double sided 3m tape. Oh being slightly off is really not an issue, you can adjust with the holes slightly wider. While the nuts hold the spoiler on the double sided tape holds it in position.
