Front facia/bumper question. - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Getting ready to design some parts which will require cutting of the front facia but before I do I am curious to know how much room there is between the facia and bumper particularily in the center where the facia comes to a point and about 10" to either side.

take the bumper off and put clay where you need to measure....put the facia back on the clay will squeese down...take the facia off and measure the clay...this method works good to measure valve to piston clearance too.

Thanks for the reply. Taking measurements with the facia removed would not be a problem, I was hoping to get an idea of the clearance without any disassembly.
