A few problems...Any fixes?
First thing I noticed about my car was that I had a few paint scratches on the inside of my car under the driver door. These lines are perfectly straight, all at the same diagonal angel, and parallel to each other.
Secondly, there are a couple of bubbles in my stripes that I noticed after my first car wash when I was drying it off. Third, I hear squeaking when turning my wheel (sometimes), or anytime i push my cruise control knob down. Not a big deal... but are any of these fixable/under warranty? Specially the stripes..if I could get those redone for free that'd be nice. Seeing as it's obviously provable its not my fault. |

The scratches could just be from you getting in/out of the car.
On the stripes, those are usually a dealer installed option unless the car was ordered from GM that way, so the selling dealer should be the one to replace the affected one(s) at no cost to you. Not sure on the squeaking. Is it from inside the car or outside? |

I know the scratches "could be" from me, but they are not. I noticed them the second day after I had the car and I was cleaning a dirt mark off. I was just curious if this was maybe a well know problem that GM has come out and let known they would fix, or a dealer mess up that I'm stuck with.
How would I go about having the stripes redone? The bubbles are really small and only noticeable when I'm drying the car.. Idk if it's worth having them rip off and redo.. The squeaking is inside the car. It's coming from the places I mentioned. |

how long have the stripes been on the car?? if they have only been on a few days they may not have glued down all the way. i had a few in mine for 2 weeks before they seated down good. other question is how warm has it been where you are? direct sunlight is the best, if you can leave it parked outside on a sunny day may help as well. to fix yourself get a safety pin poke small hole and push air out with finger. out take it back and ask them to re do them. if you have them re done i wouldn't run it through an automatic car wash or use high pressure on them. as far as the scratches look on the door itself and see if there is anything there that is loose or see if there are paint flakes or fibers there from the door being out of alignment maybe.
