need a front bumber for my 2010 ss .melted, pics included
looking to buy a new front bumber for my ss someone threw a cig out there window and landed on the front bumber and melted right into the plastic what should i do .i want to buy a oem bumper where can i get one . or do i just buy a cover .basic shell

The wreckers probably don't have many camaro's lying around. I'd visit a local body shop to see what they can do. How did this happen anyways? I'm gonna assume your car was parked and it landed on the lip where your lights are. How bad is it? Post pics?

that almost looks intentionally put there. were you moving when it happened or parked? ask a body shop about repairing it before you go buy a new one. they can order you a new one too if you need to go that route.

bumpers are $400 before painted , oem at dealerships and plus the 3.5 hrs labor for taking the bumper on and off, ( it only takes 5 mins to do ur self). best thing to do is get a quote for repair and if its more than a new bumper with paint...well then u know what to do. I have a small crack in my bumper so I have been researching this for a while.

I'd just have that repaired, you would never be able to tell. Also the benefit would be less rock chips later on since they would reclear the whole panel.
There is no way that butt stayed there when the car was moving. Someone flipped it out their window onto his parked car. |
