BBKTECH was kind enough to share some pics of the longtube headers for the v6 that will ship May 14.

I have some friends over at BBK and Brothers Performance, I will talk to them about some pricing on these. It's always cheaper as a group buy, so I will ask about that as well.

Theres interest. Heck, I'm not even planning on doing long tubes any time in the near future and I'm interested lol. Get em installed, get video, and get a good before/after dyno and we'll all be very interested!

I was interested, but they took too long, way too many postponements, I am still not sure if they are being shipped soon and I just preferred ARH's product more.

Also.....the headers on BBK are smaller @ 1 5/8 compared to ARH system 1 3/4.

One thing I am curious about is the design of these headers compared to ARH. These come straight out from the engine and do a sharp turn right before the CATs. Whereas the ARH have a more smoother design where the pipes flow out of the engine and smoothly curve into a straight-er flow before hitting the CATs. Does all that make a difference in power gains? Who knows? But sound wise I am dead sure there would be a noticeably difference compared to the ARH headers.

Once I get a dyno done, I will be able to tell what I gained. As for BBK, its only their word so far.

I think it may also be that long tube headers are illegal in most states.

I totally agree, I'm thinking the diffrence in pipe diameter alone should noticeably effect the sound. Can't wait for some new youtube V6 exhaust vids!

I totally agree about the wait! We've been waiting since last November for christ sake!

Thing about the smaller diameter is they should make more torque....
