Reverse Lockout Solenoid on V6?

Hello,

I have a 2010 2LT, manual shift. As of today, when I shift into reverse (while the car is not moving) and let go of the clutch pedal I heard a grinding noise. Reverse will only engage if I push the shifter really hard in reverse, there will be a click when I lift the clutch pedal, and reverse will be engaged.

Anyone run across this issue?
Is there a reverse lockout solenoid on the transmissions for the V6 engines? When I search, it appears that only people with SS's have had issues. Buts if so, does anyone have a picture or diagram showing where this would be located?

Thanks.
