Striping opinions

I'm looking into the rally stripes for my IBM camaro. I like both silver and white on it(leaning silver) but was also considering the painted ones that go from the ground up front across hood all way down back, like the Indy 500 pace car package.

Opinions on both color and vinyl/painted??

I love gold/yellow on that navy blue. Beautiful. And I like either the factory style stripes, or bumble bee that go to the tip of the nose. I don't care for the Mustang style stripes that go all the way down in the front and back.

Get them vinyl first, so you can find what you like. Then have it painted later.

since you are asking our OPINIONS.....here is mine....PAINTED!! YOU WILL NEVER REGRET IT.....regardless of which color you choose. But I will suggest something.....you have narrowed it down to white and silver....and leaning towards silver.....go with PEARL WHITE.....its like combineing the two colors......GM has a color called DIAMOND WHITE....its used on Caddy's, its the color of my STS....it would look GREAT!!

We decided on painted the first time I waxed the car and didn't like what happened with the flat black vinyl ones. They looked good and probably would last for years but, we decided on painted, and then we saw Gary's vented fenders, and then the MPD's Hood and striping has got out of hand from there, very different with pearlescents and multiple colors and a little different design, we think its looking good. So lesson learned, do what you want and how you want, different is good, but I do recommend paint.

K. I'm right in the middle of silver or white, but think painted is way to go. Might do something like bumblebees just over the nose....Got plenty of time to think
