Shelby not just for Mustangs anymore...

Hope this isn't a repost, searched for it and didn't see it, but was watching Hot Rod TV this weekend and saw that Shelby has opened up Shelby American Motorsports who will build up and tune basically any car, predominantly Vettes, Camaros, Challengers, Chargers etc. from GM and Chrysler. So not just Fords anymore. They want to get into a larger part of the market and provide all the parts and dyno tuning to compete with tuners like Hennessey and Lingenfelter. It seems it will be similar to packages they offer where you send your car up to them, you tell them what you want or choose from power packages, they build or modify the car, tune it, test it and you get it back. I'm curious to see if anyone from the forum may plan to get their car built up and tuned by Carroll Shelby's team.

There was a time when you seen a Shelby car or Carroll's signature on a dash of a Shelby and it was rare and special. Now u see his signature on all his cars its nothing special any more. I hate how he has whored out his name so easily now. The almighty buck has clouded his judgement imo

that is true, the lil pocket rockets that Carroll said he enjoyed working on and hinted that they may be returning to that in the future.

Seriously Shelby can work on my car any day. I get the fact that he is doing mustangs and not Camaro's but come on guys. This is Carroll freakin Shelby here. Don't get me wrong much props for Lingenfelter, Hennessey and the whole lot but Shelby has been around forever and he produces an excellent product. I agree that it sounds weird though.

Introducing the Shelby Camaro Panther.

Introducing the Shelby Camaro Cheetah.

Okay there are my efforts
