I'm Thinking

Well after a time we (my dad and I) think our SS A6 needs a more muscle car tone, considering I have read in magazines that they compare the camaro's idle to that of a toyota camry (yuck). Well we know we want a cat-back because if we find we made a mistake and can't stand it we can easily go back to stock. We have narrowed it to corsa, for its apparent ability to cut drone and borla, for the many great reviews. We know we want to compare a borla exhaust but which one is part of our problem. If you could compare and tell us the differances between the borla exhausts we would be thankful. We have heard many youtube videos and find them very subjective. We would like your opinions on all, If you have heard or driven we encourage you to speak. Could you please compare prices, sound, fit/finish, drive ability (drone, the ability to annoy neighbors),AFM noise, and anything else you can think of. Thank you in advance for replies oh and heres our SS

I just replied to another post about the Corsa system. I put Corsas on my car and absolutely love them. Great sound, absolutely no drone at any speed, and very high quality product.

I cannot comment on the Borla system as I have not heard them on a Camaro. They seem to have a good following though.

I know that the Borlas do drone some on Corvettes, especially the automatic transmission.

Hope you enjoy whichever one you get.

We have two different styles of cat backs that would fit your needs, and you dont have to worry about any drone. Our local dealership loves the sound so much, he installs our exhaust on every Camaro he has on the lot.

We offer a retro style round chambered system:

And we offer a turbo muffler style cat back system:

I have the corsa on my L99 and bought it for the worry of drone and it sounds great. No drone. Couldn't be happier.

Here is a video of the comparison of the three Borla systems (Touring, Type-S, Atak): http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=73745
