JET Performance Powr-Flow Mass Air Meters

DOnt know if anyone else has seen them but Jet has a mass airflow sensor out for the v6 now. I've also never used one and was wondering if they worth upgrading too? Especially with an aftermarket intake.

JET Powr-Flow Mass Air Meters
JET Performance #561-69126
# 2010 Chevy Camaro 3.6L
# 2010 Cadillac SRX 3.6L
# 2010 Buick LaCrosse 3.6L

It's not designed to change your A/F... if it does it means it's not working correctly...

Well, it is a widely know fact that there are differences in the sensitivity of MAF sensors. The reason behind aftermarket units is the sensitivity and calibration of them. With better/faster "sampling" of the incoming air volume/temp etc, the cars' ECM can make more precise/faster adjustments to the A/F ratio hopefully resulting in more power/economy depending on your right foot!

Now I am not saying the Jet unit is any good or not. Just that there are mfg'ers out there that make better units than OE. I use a Granatelli on my Silverado with great results. But that is a diff type of unit than our Camaro's....

I have one... no gain on stock. I installed it for the nitrous. And correct, it just makes quicker adjustments on the a/f ratio.

Guy in our club has one, and showed NO gains on our recent Dyno Club day. Its a expensive paper weight.

JET takes a stock meter and installs a pretty decal - no more no less. As the company that created the segment, I must say I find it disheartening that they try to sell a stock part with nothing more than a sticker change. They are not calibrated and they DO NOT sample any differently. They do not make their meters and they do not calibrate them. They just sticker them up and ship them out. – if you look at the GMS factory tour video you will see our flow bench and MAF dyno. If show how each GMS meter is designed, tested and then flowed and calibrated.

Hypurone - You did good
