Painting engine cover
I have the itch to do something to my car, but don't want to spend a ton. I see a lot of guys with their engine cover painted to match the body color and I have been wanting to do that. Has anyone have any issues with heat and pint bubbling? What kind of paint did you use?
I know I have seen posts about this in the past but didn't have any luck with the search. |

Ive done this many times, ive used regular krylon spray paint. However you can always get a can of color matching body paint if you wish. No issues with the heat from the engine and no bubbling. Just make sure you clean and prep everything before you start. I used a degreaser on the engine cover just to make sure there was nothing on it prior to painting.
