Unorganized ordering process

Is it just me or does the whole ordering process seem kind of unorganized right now. I was just browsing some posts and there is a lot of confusion over people getting this in a package they didn't know existed, things being changed about the content of each trim, such as the addition of blue. I have yet to see a lot of the claimed options on all camaro fact sheets. Seems rather strange.

Oh, things do seem to be flowing fairly smoothly no doubt, and its all going pretty fluidly so far. I just mean, that it is very hard to find all the information on ordering specific options and such in one place that makes any sense.

the initial ordering workbook is the best place to look for that information

I definitely agree that there seems to be no one place where all the information exists. This forum is great, but it isn't set in stone from GM. It could be because they (GM) were testing the waters and getting initial feedback before they finalized things. Perhaps as we get closer to the orders dropping, an updating ordering book will come out?

I knew ahead of time what I wanted, dealer checked the boxes, submitted, printed... done.

I am still hoping that somethings change. Such as a leather seating option for the 1ss, because then I can get the RS package and not have to fool around with the 2ss just for leather seating. I have had one hell of a time trying to find what the vast number of wheel options look like, and just a basic graph that has all the options on it.

If you have spent any time on this site you know more about the Camaro than the salesman you are buying from. My ordering went pretty smooth because I knew what I wanted before I got there, did not really need a salesman.

I saw, I think, at an Australian site announcing the new Camaro - I didn't bookmark it - the ambient lighting(blue?) listed as part of the 2SS package. Since it's not shown anywhere by GM as a separate option, it would make sense that it's standard on the top 2SS model, but that certainly isn't official.
I think as you said earlier, a lot of this stuff is not yet set in stone, and if we want anything changed, now's the time to voice our opinions 'cause once a full color ordering brochure comes out, it's all over.

Completely agree. So if anyone is listening, I would like to see an option for the ambient lighting package or at least as a default match the color of the car or make it white/silver.
