HELP!! intake issues

I recently had a BBK Cold Air Intake installed on My 2010 SS.. BEFORE install, i was running 14.074-14.210 in the quatermile (first of all is THAT an issue???) then AFTER i installed the Intake 'SAME DAY ON THE SPOT' i began to run 14.441 and SLOWER! i should be FASTER not SLOWER. Do i need to get it tuned for the extra air comming in or what? and has anyone been having and TRANSMISSION ISSUE'S while running in sport mode?

As Chief was saying we would need to see you timeslips (60' times of pre and post intake) to know what's going on.

There reason you were running slower could be because of slower 60' times.

You don't need 100miles for your PCM to adjust for the CAI, nor do you need a tune for it. I tested a BBK intake for Hypertech and found that it plays perfectly fine with the PCM. Your PCM will adjust for the BBK within a few miles.

With your times all over the place, I think you need to practice launches and experiment with different driving settings. TC off, ST off, everything off.
