DT Shorty Headers... Installed

Here are some pictures of the DT Shortys installed. Wow, they make a difference. You notice as soon as you pull away. Pavement was dry, sun was out. Making a left onto the main street, I leaned on it the same amount I normally would and the tires started breaking free. Long Tubes would have to be pretty amazing to compare to the added jump the DT Headers added. LOVE EM! (I added a pic of my Injen CAI too)

Good choice with the Injen intake.

My only complaint is your engine bay is filthy. Clean that mofo up at the local DIY car wash.

I was surprised at the response I got on my v6 with these! I think they work best with a catback and intake added for a complete package as I did. I got on the freeway the other day behind someone doing only 53 to merge on, I punched it so A6 downshifted once only and was at 75 in what seemed like only 3 seconds! The car just really hauls now

That's what I love to hear right there. Real world experience and thoughts on aftermarket products. Dynos are all fun and great but when you hear people talk about how the products work behind the wheel, that's just something that you can't see in a magazine article.

Thanks again for the awesomeness in posting this information up for the masses to read and gain their own thoughts and opinions on.

Woot!

sorry, I am sure this question has been asked already, but did the DT's come with a new gasket or do you just reuse the old stock gasket?

You can reuse the OEM gasket about 4 times before it's done with.

Kooks actually sends a new gasket with their LT's but reccommends reusing the OEM one in their instructions as well...
