2010 Shelby tested by Motor Trend..very fast

Motor Trend just tested the 2010 Shelby, and it is wicked fast out of the box.
0-60 in 4.3
Quarter mile 12.3 @ 118
.96g on the skid pad

Svt states this motor is geared to its owners making more mods....

No joke. If you are in the market for that car.... waiting till 2010 makes alot of sense. Then again, you will start the see the current gen prices falling too.

Not surprised, Shelbys are very impressive cars. Although the 0-60 time is .5 seconds faster...the 1/4 time is not all that much faster, the Camaro does 13 at 111. I know that sounds like quite a bit on paper, but with some small mods it could be VERY close

Mods if ur lucky will get you about 2 or 3 tenths. You'll need another 100hp to run that down.

Yeah, but were talking about keeping up not nec beating...besides, isnt the price tag ALOT higher than the Maro?

They stated about 44K , If we can get that Z28 for the same money.

I would have to say yes, 540+ hp for 44K and do exhuast and a pulley and knock off a 1/2 sec or more......lol
