OT: SUPRISE ALLIES BACK BIG 3

Here's a news story that was put out by one of Toronto's local news stations.
No government (CDN or AMERICAN) wants to see manufacturing fail. I still think the BIG EXECUTIVES of these companies should give up some of their multi-million dollar salaries to help the cause because EVERYONE has to do their part. Some of the big 3 are selling off their shares in other auto companies to raise money (i.e. GM selling off Suzuki, Ford selling off Mazda, etc.).

Think about Congress in terms of a Swiffer ad. There's always the one mop that pushes the mess around the house and fails to make anything better. That's Congress much of the time.

Yeah, i can see why you think that. I'm not so sure i want congress to do anything, cause they obviously think there is one easy fix (money) when it will take allot of freakin work.

I'm sure that some enviro people have ran the numbers and found that a Cobalt built in Mexico will be responsible for less GHG emmissions than a Prius imported from Japan over several years. But what ever the reason, the big 3 need all the help they can get right now
