Finally got my car!! Large Learning curve ahead..
SO I finally got my car today thanks to Becky @ Rodgers Chevrolet! Working with her has been such a TREAT and she was able to ship the car all the way to Florida seamlessly. Many thanks Becky
. I got my car in Manual, and after driving it for 30 minutes I must've stalled it about 6 times. I'm even having trouble finding reverse! . Hopefully all this stalling and I'm pretty heavy-footed on the clutch doesn't damage the car. If anyone has any advice on driving manual, feel free to drop in and add you advice . Downshifting is probably going to be my biggest learning curve. Glad I finally have the Camaro and once again thanks Becky! |

Congrats on your new Camaro!!! Is this the first time you have driven a manual? You'll have it down in no time at all...it'll become second nature to you.

Congratulations, and since it got wet, you won't have to worry about it melting in the rain
. Don't sweat the manual, with use and practice, you will be fine.

congrats and the best advice i can give on the manual is practice practice! you'll get the hang of it. I don't think i know anyone that just got in and drove it without stalling it a few times!

A friend of mine bought a Mazda Speed3. He never drove a manual before, stalled it lots early on. But now he says its second nature.

Congrats. You'll get the hang of it. Take it slow and practice, practice, practice. Go to a mall parking lot and learn where your clutch grabs.

Woohoo! Congrats and excellent choice of color. You already got it rained on... so now you have that behind you. I seem to get rained on everytime I wash my car.

Don't downshift during the break-in process. It's not good for the motor.
Congratz!

Congrats on your new purchase and welcome to the family. As far as the learning curve dont worry the clutch is warranted, and i taught my wife to drive mine in about 20 min if thats any motivation..lol
