Alright I know I have posted about this RJT 2LT/RS sitting at the dealership just around the corner from my job, well today I was off work and just driving by and just happened to glance over(as I always do) and saw the sun shining off this beauty and just HAD to stop and get some cool shots of it.
I find myself obsessing over this car, I know I have been wanting a convertible but if it is anything like the pictures that i have seen of it I just am not impressed. It looks awesome with the top down but there is something about it that looks all out of whack with the top up, maybe its the ribs showing through, maybe its the junk they attached to the trunk lid, maybe its the way the windows look too large on the sides, or maybe its all the above.
When I was looking at that RJT today the one thing that really stands out about the car over a convertible is that sexy roofline and how it just flows into the back of the car, THAT is what really sold me on the car originally from the beginning, and the convertible seems to take all that away.
hopefully I will see one in person soon so that I can for sure make a solid decision, but as it stands right now I am not thinking convertible anymore, I am gonna have to change my name in here.
This RJT is exactly just what I would order from the factory, there is not a thing I would add or change on it.

I know what you mean about being obsessed!

I tick off family and friends talking about this Camaro in another town all the time! Camaro's are very, very, verrrrry rare in New Zealand (I've ever only seen one in a Holden dealership).

Nice color and stripes!

I agree with you, I'm not a fan of any car with a ragtop (when it's up). When ragtops are down they are drop dead sexy though..... Good luck with your decision anyway

I agree with you about the 'vert. I pulled the plug last January and ordered my coupe, and I haven't had a single regret.

If this one's calling to you, it could be you found your soulmate.

Have you driven her yet?

I my job is right there on the other side of the shopping center next to the dealership in a medical clinic in Royston.
I see you figured that out pretty well.
From what I understand the folks there are willing to negotiate the price pretty well on the Camaros.
Do you live in this area as well? I live down in Comer

I have driven an SS and a V6 on the same day, was very impressed with the SS but the V6 was really nice as well, it is a lot faster than my wifes Monte Carlo SS SuperCharged 04 and to me that is plenty of car for me, I barely drive my wifes' car because I know I probably get tickets in it, it is so easy to stomp the 'go fast' pedal in that thing. The V6 Camaro to me has gobs of power and felt a lot lighter and more nimble than the V8. I like the V8 but I will barely ever use that much power to justify the cost difference in the price, so I am leaning towards the V6 with all the bells and whistles.
