IBM with Inferno Orange Interior ?

Hello everyone, my name is Marty and I'm a noob to the Camaro5 world. I would first like to compliment everyone on this site for all of the good information and good laughs. Everyone seems to be in good spirits.

Anyways, I've never owned a Camaro and originally I was hours away from purchasing a 2010 Challenger when a close friend told me about the Camaro. Well after taking a closer look at the Camaro it was a no brainer....the CAMARO IS THE BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK!!!!!!!!

Now came the decision on the LT2 or 2SS.....well I just couldn't justify the 2SS because I don't have a garage and I would hate to have this beautiful machine sit outside in the weather, so I decided on the 2LT. Not that the 2LT is not beautiful, but its a little less expensive. I've searched the forums, but cant seem to clarification to the below questions.

Here comes my issue: Color choices...Initially I wanted the Summit White car, but I'm really sold on the IBM color. With this said I have a few issues I'm stuck on:

1. I would like to get the Inferno Orange Interior for it, but I'm not sure how it will look. Anyone on the forum have this color combination.

2. I can't decide on rally stipes or hockey stripes or both.

3. Painted aluminum wheels or Polished aluminum?

3. Finally, the color of the stripes....originally I was thinking white..but with the inferno orange...i was leaning towards Cyber Gray Metallic.

Wow!!... that would be different for sure... I'm having hard time picturing IBM with IOM interior and stripes, but its possible it could be good.... but you may not be able to do IOM interior with that color.... check Chevrolet.com

You could wait on the synergy series to come out which has color matched stitching, Footwell lights... and if I'm not mistaken... one of the cars they show is an IBM car.

First, you can not buy a IBM Camaro with this color of interior. That's because it would not look good together. I opted for the grey interior that matches up well with my silver stripes.

I also had my stripes painted on which turned out terrific. Go to the wiki on this forum and look at all the IBM color thread pictures.

Marty......to answer your questions first:

For staters I have an IOM 2LT/RS, its got the IO Interior Pkg, it has POLISHED wheels, and WHITE Rally Stripes.

1. Get the IO Interior Pkg....(this is an SS, not my car)



2. Rally Stripes



3. Poloished Wheels

4. WHITE Stripes

when I ordered my car, not only did I love thoes combos, I thought they were the logical choices, and there would be a lot of them out there....come to find out, there weren't. There are a lot more SS's made then LT with the same combination. In fact, according to the 2010 data base, there were only 22 2010's made like mine, and only 2 in the state of Texas. OBVIOSLY my car is easy to spot. :{D

Oh and BTW, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's and wive's here don't care....and take it easy.



oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

IOM interior isn't an option with IBM and I'll tell you first hand IBM is a bitch to keep clean but it sure looks good when it is..

And go for the 2SS.. Read about how many people regret the V6

+1. IBM owner as well, I didn't want the IO interior but when I did my build sheet the dealer eliminated it as option unless you have the IOM exterior or stripes.

Lastly..IBM does show some water spots, but is not nearly as bad as black and looks black at night. During the day time it shines so perfect...

Wow..thanks guys you're absolutely right I can't get the Inferno Orange interior with the IBM. I was on the USAA website and it gave you that option....darn it. Anyways thanks everyone for their input....Sir Nuke....I love your color combination....I might go that direction or even a summit white with the Inferno Orange.....Just curious guys on the inferno orange interior..what is the other color on the seat...is it black or gray? It looks more gray...and if so...is it close to the Cyber Grey stripe color?

I was thinking that exact same thing this morning after I had posted!!... thats funny!

I also have IOM with white stripes and my wife has CGM with IOM stripes and I'm currently doing the stitching in orange... It adds an awesome look for cheap!

Oh... BTW We do like orange!!
