Guys i need help I ordered my 2010 2SS/RS Summit White/Black Stripes on Saturday May 1, 2010 now everyone has been saying that it cant be that orders for 2010 camaro stopped in mid April. but all my papers and everything and my dealer assured me that its a 2010 camaro that will be built from scratch like my actual order is going through to be built its not some car that they are going to get from some other dealer or one that has been built already. Is it possible that i could have ordered the last 2010 camaro?

Just curious as to why you would order a 2010 on May 1st, when 2011 orders were being taken on May 6th? I chose to push back my 2010 order to a 2011 order when I went in on April 10th. Figured it was worth the extra 4 weeks wait. Surely you could handle an extra 5 day wait!

I would also think there could be the possibility of GM keeping hold of the last 2010 off the line... just my 2 cents.

Honestly i decided to go with 2010 because i dnt really care too much for the HUD and i want my car for the summer not the middle of august lol i have been wanting the car for 2 years + just like everyone else i presume but this was my chance to order it so i went for it not holding back...wat do u mean by GM keeping hold of the last one off the line? cause im just saying of all the stuff ive heard i feel like i might have the last one

As so many have learned...it's not the date you order

....it's the dealers allocation.

they will keep it just like they did the last few 2002 camaros and t/a.

Yes SOLD orders for 2010 can no longer be placed after that cut off date. It is possible your salesman placed your order as a STOCK order. If your salesman did this, there is no guarantee that your dealer will get your car.

The dealer said its going to be an order for the 2010 and with the allocation u are correct because once i ordered my car my friend who has a camaro called his dealership a few hours later and they said for the 2010 camaro they are not accepting anymore orders but lets say i got my dealerships last allocation and assuming after may 1 people would hold off for a 2011 i really think it might be one of the if not the last 2010 camaro

We received a few last 2010 allocations in the end of April so I'm sure your dealer did too. Good luck with the Camaro your gonna love it. I have 7000 miles on my personal car and have had a blast.
