Camaro Science

If your 200 feet from your Camaro and you walk 100 feet you will then be half way their. So if every time you go halfway you have halfway left to go how will you ever get to your car?

theoretically it is impossible. Your number will ony get smaller but you will never touch the car.
However I doubt anyone is dumb enough to not reach out and grab the handle.

numbers: 200, 100, 50, 25, 12.5, 6.25, 3.125, 1.5625, .78125, .390625, .1953125, .0976....... etc. the number will never reach 0.

my 200 feet? and how does walking 100ft make me halfway belong to somebody? i'm just picking!

i guess, at some point, you'll eventually be close enough to just go 100% of the way there instead of halfway.

Oh the Halflife thing.. THATS WHY THE RUSSIANS CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS! XD

I wonder what will happen when two Camaros collide? Will we have Camaro Fission? We may very well be dealing with WMDs with LS3s.

Don't worry! Math says you'll get there. =)

See, you can model your distance from the car as 1 / 2^n, where n is the number of "halfways" you've gone. If you take the limit as n approaches infinity, you get 0, which means you will have your hands on a brand new Camaro eventually!

Ok, I'm done nerding out now. =)

Oh the problems posed by math nerds . . . ignore the theoretical and deal with the practical.

Problem solving:

s= start = 0 ft
e= end = 200 ft
d= distance required to walk = 200 ft
m = midpoint = (e-s)/2 = (200-0)/2 = 100 ft

2 x m = d

so walk 100 ft twice and you're there . ερτω

Atomic style LS9 maybe?

At least we wouldn't have to worry about supercharging it lol

All I know is eventually you would be close enough to grab the door handle and once you can do that all hell breaks loose.

Assuming you have a key of course.
