I have no idea. but if you look at GMPP's site, the diff between the LS3 and the LS3 (hotcam) is 500 bucks...
so i'd say 500 just for the part, have no idea the labor. |

Will this cam void the warranty if installed by a GM dealer?

Is the HotCam a decent cam? I mean im looking to get 50hp out of a cam swap, will we get those #'s from the GMPP cam?
Labor is also a good question, no way i can do this and it seems like a bit of work which gets me thinking it'll be pricey. |

$460 from Scoggin-Dickey And yes, it will void your warranty. The warranty covers your CAR, and everything in it. This does not come with your car, therefore it voids your warranty. |

If your dealer, is a vender for GMPP and they can do the work, no it will NOT void the warrenty.. Luckily my dealer and a few others around Seattle are venders... they can do anything from the catalog and it will come with warrenty. |

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-t...in-an-ls3.html I've seen some testimonials that it idled like stock, added power, and didn't really decrease mileage. It's the cheapest cam you can add, considering it doesn't require new valve springs. But I agree with the above thread, you will find some newer cams that create more horsepower for about the same price as the HOT cam, but you will need to replace the valvesprings as well (another $250). |

PM me if you want the parts list. It reads like a dream order from Summit or Jegs. We had to have a parting of ways b/c hp bought up Compaq, I got laid off, the economy was in the tank and I had to sacrifice to survive. Oddly enough as it is, it belongs to a friend of a friend. One word of caution, if you get up next to it and it has the very BIG motor in it, if you feel the urge to compete, I hope your car does 9s literally. I am not kidding here it was fast whe I sold it (and cried watching it leave whithout me).
